Blue stain pine T&GCustomer in Boulder, CO just sent us these pictures. They actually drove to Montana picked up the flooring, installed it, and did a site finish. Now that’s customer service! Their client commented numerous times about the extreme variations in color tones and how they have never seen beetle kill blue pine with so much color andcharacter.

We only harvest Ponderosa Pine trees that have been killed by the mountain pine beetle and standing dead for up to 5 years. Some of these trees are up to 400 years old! By selective logging these beauties we’re able to specifically cut for color and character. These trees are typically overlooked and left to rot in the forest since a large portion of the fiber is unusable. Sometimes up to 50% is unusable, but what we salvage has colors that range from blue, purple, green, pink, yellow, brown, black, and gray.

Maximizing the amount of fiber we can salvage in every log  is no easy task. Every board is visually cut, kiln dried to 6-8%, visually graded, defect cut, and end matched (T&G on the ends). What our customers receive is a 99% usable product.

We guarantee we have the highest quality and color compared to anything on the market.
