We’ve been very blessed to have been invited to APEC this year in Big SkyMontana.
What is APEC?
APEC Mission Statement-
APEC is the premier Asia-Pacific economic forum. The primary goal is to support sustainable economic growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
We are united in our drive to build a dynamic and harmonious Asia-Pacific community by championing free and open trade and investment, promoting and accelerating regional economic integration, encouraging economic and technical cooperation, enhancing human security, and facilitating a favorable and sustainable business environment. Our initiatives turn policy goals into concrete results and agreements into tangible benefits.
What does this mean for Sustainable Lumber Co.?
We have been asked to represent green small businesses in the forest products industry. All our products come from locally and sustainable dead standing Montana timber. With a back ground in importing and exporting we are helping to educate other countries not only about our products, but other sustainable forest products from Montana as well. Hopefully after the APEC conference we can help spread a little bit of Montana around the world.
